1. ( international standard book number) (ancien: 10 chiffres)L’ISBN (international standard book number) est un numéro international normalisé permettant l’identification d’un livre afin de faciliter les diverses opérations de gestion (commande, recherche, inventaire, etc.). Ce numéro est attribué avant publication pour identifier un titre ou l’édition d’un titre publié par un éditeur déterminé, le numéro attribué correspondant uniquement à une édition donnée.
